Spaces designed around the people who live in them.
Interior design and neuroarchitecture to create environments that support daily routine, behavior and the different stages of life.
More than designing spaces, I seek to understand the people who inhabit them.
A home is not made only of walls, furniture, colors and objects.
It is also built from habits, memories, stimuli, affections, needs and the changes that happen over a lifetime.
My work comes from this perspective: understanding the relationship between people and environments to create spaces that are aesthetically coherent, functionally appropriate and emotionally meaningful.
Projects and stories
Each project starts from a different reality. The starting point may be a change of routine, a new stage of life, a functional need, or simply the wish to see yourself more clearly in your own home.
How I can help you
Every need calls for a different level of support. That is why I offer services that range from a one-off consultation to the complete planning of an environment.
-
Interior design project
A complete interior design project, shaped by the routine, needs and identity of the people who live in the space.
-
Interior design consultation
Professional guidance to transform or reorganize environments in a practical way, consistent with daily routine and suited to the available budget.
-
Neuro-environmental consultation
A reading of the environment through neuroarchitecture to identify how light, layout, stimuli and organization can influence comfort and well-being. Starting from what already exists, I propose adjustments that are possible and consistent with daily routine.

Take the free neuro-environmental assessment (in Portuguese)
In-person appointments in Florianópolis and the surrounding region, and online for clients in other locations.
I don't design only for the space that exists.
I design for the life that happens inside it.
Myrella Masseli
Interior and product designer, specialist in neuroarchitecture, with postgraduate training in Art, Culture and Education.
My path has led me to look at spaces not only for their aesthetics, but for the way they are perceived, used and lived in. I have a special interest in the relationship between behavior, well-being, belonging and longevity.
Thinking about spaces is also part of my work.
Beyond projects, I research and write about the relationship between environments, behavior, well-being and the changes in the way we live. A home is not a static backdrop: it follows our routines, our stages of life and the transformations of society.

Habitar
Research, space and time
Habitar gathers my texts of research and reflection on the relationship between people, spaces and time. It is where I explore themes such as belonging, behavior, longevity, aging in place and the changes in the way we live at home.
Shall we talk about your space?
Every project begins with a conversation. If you are thinking about transforming an environment, or you are not yet sure which kind of service best meets your need, we can start there. Tell me a little about your space and what you want to change.
